Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 DOE
PQE: Senior Solicitor / Experienced Family Lawyer

Senior Family Solicitor | Children Law | Legal Aid | Legal 500 Tier 1 An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Family Solicitor specialising in Children Law to join a highly regarded Legal 500 Tier 1 Family Law team.

The firm has an excellent reputation for complex Family Law work and offers an unusually flexible approach to working arrangements, making this an attractive opportunity for an experienced solicitor looking for quality work without sacrificing work-life balance.

The Role You will handle a varied caseload of Legal Aid Children Law matters, including:

• Public and private Children Act proceedings
• Care proceedings
• Child Arrangements Orders
• Prohibited Steps and Specific Issue Orders
• Special Guardianship Orders
• Parental Responsibility matters
• Cases involving domestic abuse and safeguarding
• Urgent and complex children matters

You will manage your own caseload, advise clients, prepare cases for hearings and work alongside other professionals including Cafcass, local authorities and counsel


About You The ideal candidate will be an experienced Children Law / Family Solicitor with:

• Strong experience in Legal Aid Family Law.
• Experience handling public and/or private Children Law matters.
• Excellent technical, drafting and case management skills.
• Strong client care and communication abilities.
• The confidence to manage complex cases with autonomy.
• A genuine commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and families.
