About the Role

As an IRSE SMTH Tester, you will be responsible for checking the installation and testing of S&T systems across rail infrastructure projects.

Working to the highest safety, quality and compliance standards, you will play an important role in ensuring systems are installed, tested and delivered safely and effectively, supporting the successful completion of key project milestones.

Key Responsibilities
Verifying Installation and Conducting Testing of signalling equipment.
Completing Test Documentation

Interpreting drawings, signalling diagrams, and technical specifications
Safe operation and upkeep of S&T tools and testing Instrumentation
Working effectively with engineers, supervisors, and wider project teams
 
Requirements
SMTH

IRSE 1.4.160
PTS and COSS
Previous experience working on Signalling schemes
Strong understanding of Rail safety and industry regulations
Ability to read and interpret signalling diagrams and technical drawings
Proven experience with installation and testing
