Location: Manchester Salary: Up to £32,500 per annum Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Reed FE is looking for an ambitious and proactive Employer Engagement Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to build strong relationships with employers, identify recruitment opportunities, and support individuals into sustainable employment.

Working closely with employers, training providers and internal teams, you will play a key role in generating vacancies, matching candidates to opportunities, and supporting employer recruitment needs across the region.

What you'll be doing

• Generating employer leads through direct sales activity, digital outreach, networking, meetings and events.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers and key stakeholders.
• Identifying recruitment opportunities and developing a pipeline of vacancies.
• Taking a consultative approach to understand employer recruitment and workforce development needs.
• Analysing labour market trends to identify growth sectors and employment opportunities.
• Working with training providers and internal teams to develop pre-employment training aligned to employer requirements.
• Managing employer accounts to ensure excellent customer service and repeat business.
• Advertising vacancies and promoting opportunities to suitable candidates.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a sales, recruitment or employer engagement role.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
• Strong communication, networking and negotiation skills.
• Experience working towards targets and KPIs.
• Good IT skills, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office and database management.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
