The Role

We're looking for an Audit Senior to take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion.

You'll work closely with Managers, Assistant Managers and the wider audit team, while having plenty of client exposure and responsibility.

You'll also play an important role in supporting and developing junior team members.

  • Lead audits from planning through to completion, managing resources, workloads and deadlines
  • Deliver high-quality audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and internal policies
  • Supervise and develop junior team members, reviewing work and providing constructive feedback
  • Identify key risks and findings, preparing clear reports for senior team members
  • Build strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit
  • Work collaboratively across the business, identifying opportunities to bring different service lines together
  • Share knowledge and support the wider team, contributing to a positive team culture
  • Keep developing your expertise, staying up to date with accounting and auditing standards

What We're Looking For

  • Confidence working directly with clients
  • Experience reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues
  • Good knowledge of risk assessment, controls and audit procedures
  • Up-to-date knowledge of FRS and IFRS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Experience with CCH and Inflo is beneficial but not essential as full training and support will be provided.

This is a chance to join an ambitious, growing regional firm where you'll get genuine client exposure, meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to progress your career.

With offices across Manchester, Liverpool, Bolton and Wigan, there is flexibility around location.
