The Company:
Our client is a growing FMCG business with ambitious expansion plans and a strong focus on customer service, operational excellence and scalable growth. As part of its next phase of development, the business is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Director to join the Leadership Team and build an end-to-end supply chain operation capable of supporting future growth.

The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the end-to-end supply chain function, encompassing purchasing, forecasting, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, returns and operational planning.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and delivering the supply chain strategy to support significant business growth.
  • Leading stock planning, forecasting and inventory control to optimise availability, cash and service levels.
  • Driving warehouse performance, productivity, capacity planning and operational efficiency.
  • Managing import logistics, freight and supplier supply chain performance.
  • Supporting ERP/WMS development and process automation initiatives.
  • Building and developing a high-performing supply chain and operations team.
  • Acting as a key customer-facing supply chain partner, ensuring excellent service and delivery performance.

The Person:
You will be an experienced supply chain leader with a track record of delivering change and improving operational performance within a fast-paced FMCG, retail, consumer goods or similar environment.

You will bring:
  • End-to-end supply chain leadership experience.
  • Strong expertise in inventory management, planning, purchasing and warehouse operations.
  • Experience of logistics, import/export operations and supplier performance management.
  • A blend of strategic thinking and hands-on operational leadership.
  • Exposure to ERP/WMS implementations and process improvement programmes.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance service, stock, cash and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and team development skills.
