An established accountancy practice is looking for a Corporate Tax Senior to join its Manchester tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing corporate tax experience and gain greater exposure to advisory work, client relationships and more complex assignments.

You'll work with a varied portfolio of businesses while receiving support and development from experienced tax professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns.
• Managing your own portfolio of corporate tax clients.
• Assisting with corporate tax advisory assignments.
• Supporting tax planning projects.
• Assisting with group structures and reorganisations.
• Supporting acquisitions, disposals and other transactions.
• Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Working alongside accounts and audit teams.
• Identifying potential tax planning opportunities.
• Supporting Managers and Directors on more complex assignments.
• Assisting with the development of junior team members.
• Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation.

You'll gain exposure to a varied client portfolio, including:

Owner-Managed Businesses | SMEs | Private Groups | Entrepreneurial Businesses | Corporate Clients

This role is designed to provide a good balance of compliance and advisory, allowing you to develop beyond purely compliance-based work.

You could be:

• An experienced Corporate Tax Senior.
• A strong Tax Semi-Senior looking for progression.
• ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified/part-qualified.
• Working towards a relevant professional qualification.

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous corporate tax experience within UK practice.
• Good corporation tax technical knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to manage their own workload.
• An interest in developing their advisory skills.
• A genuine desire to progress within corporate tax.
