We are partnering with a leading UK infrastructure and utilities business to recruit a Treasury Manager (Funding) for a newly created role within their Group Finance function. The successful candidate will have significant exposure to senior stakeholders, banking partners, lenders and external financing agencies, making this an ideal move for someone looking to broaden their strategic corporate finance experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's funding, treasury and capital management strategy. Working within a high-performing finance team, you will support a substantial debt portfolio, oversee treasury governance activities, and contribute to an active acquisition and growth agenda.
Description
- Take ownership of the Group's senior debt facilities, ensuring ongoing compliance with all funding agreements and reporting obligations.
- Manage debt covenant calculations, monitoring and reporting processes.
- Develop and maintain the Group Treasury Policy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk appetite.
- Support funding requirements for acquisitions and strategic growth initiatives.
- Manage interest rate risk exposure and provide recommendations on hedging strategies.
- Oversee liquidity management and the investment of surplus cash in line with treasury policies.
- Prepare materials and reporting for lenders, banking partners and credit rating agencies.
- Lead banking and lender KYC processes.
- Partner with finance leadership to optimise corporate and financing structures.
- Support cash flow forecasting and treasury operations where required.
- Drive process improvements across treasury systems, controls and reporting capabilities.
Profile
A successful Corporate Treasury Manager (Treasury) should have:
- ACT or equivalent professional qualification would be preferred.
- Post-qualification experience in corporate finance, treasury, funding or group finance environments.
- Strong knowledge of debt facilities, covenant compliance, liquidity management and financial risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience delivering process improvements and enhancing financial controls.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging up to £70,000 dependent on the level of experience.
- Hybrid working with 3 days in office.
- Annual Bonus and company pension.
- Permanent position based in Manchester.
