This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting children as they transition towards preschool learning. The Role

As Leader of Rising 3's, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team and creating engaging learning opportunities for children approaching preschool age.

You will provide outstanding care and education, ensuring children are fully supported in developing the social, emotional, physical, and communication skills required for their next stage of learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Rising 3's room and inspire a team of Early Years Practitioners
  • Deliver high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan engaging, child-led activities that promote independence and exploration
  • Support children's language, communication, cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Create a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and creativity
  • Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate observations and assessments
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers
  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are consistently met
  • Maintain exceptional standards of care, learning, and provision across the room

Person SpecificationEssential Requirements
  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent UK-recognised qualification)
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader, Leader of Rising 3's, Senior Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Lead, or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework
  • Experience leading and developing nursery staff
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Passion for delivering outstanding childcare and early years education
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Ability to relocate to Cyprus
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience within a British nursery, international school, or overseas setting
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • SEND experience and understanding
  • Experience supporting transitions into preschool education
  • Knowledge of curiosity-led and child-centred learning approaches
