Are you a Design Engineer from a mechanical background, looking to join a rapidly growing specialist automation company where you will design and develop bespoke machinery and advanced engineering systems?

In this role you will design a wide range of interesting custom machinery as you deliver engineering solutions, supporting projects across industries including automotive and aerospace. The position will primarily be design focused using SolidWorks with additional hands-on involvement in the fitting and assembling as you oversee projects from concept to completion.

This company specialises in bespoke automation and engineering solutions for high-profile clientele, developing innovative machinery to solve manufacturing problems and address gaps within the market. With plans of continued growth, they are looking for creative engineers to join a team where the work is varied and expansive.

This role would suit a Design Engineer from a mechanical background, with hands-on workshop experience and an understanding of taking projects from concept, through design, to completion, looking for a varied position offering technical involvement, specialist training, and clear opportunities for progression.

The Role:

• Designing, testing, iterating, and manufacturing new products
• Create bespoke automation machinery including conveyors, robotic packing systems, and laser marking machinery
• Work alongside a team of Engineers to handle products from concept to completion
• 37.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday; 8:30 - 4:30
