• Working Hours: 8:30am till 4:00pm (Mon-Fri)

Manchester City Council are seeking a Business Support Officer to join their Community Equipment Store Business Support Team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a supportive and jovial team environment, handling a variety of business support tasks.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Undertake general business support tasks efficiently.
• Answer and manage incoming calls, providing helpful and accurate information.
• Make outbound calls and book appointments as required.
• Offer advice and signposting to callers, ensuring they receive the best possible guidance.
• Complete orders and handle organisational processes diligently.
• Work collaboratively within a team to maintain a friendly and productive work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a business support or administrative role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in handling phone-based customer service is highly desirable.
• Friendly and positive attitude, with a capacity to work well within a team.
