A UK business process outsourcing group is hiring its first Marketing Director. The group has grown both organically and by acquisition and now owns a portfolio of customer experience and contact centre businesses, each with its own proposition, client base and route to market.

The remit

You will own group marketing end to end, overseeing the existing team and building out the wider function gradually and strategically.

This role oversees a portfolio and while the service lines are closely aligned, the demographics vary dramatically. Your strategy must therefore be adapted to the needs of the individual businesses.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Marketing leadership in BPO, software, or managed services (MSP or similar). Alternatively, agency side, running marketing across multiple clients in one of those sectors.
• Evidence of building a function rather than inheriting one that already works.
• Genuine commercial rigour. You should be comfortable being held to pipeline and return, not impressions.
• The range to operate across both volume-driven direct marketing and considered B2B brand and event marketing.
• Someone strategic who is still close enough to the detail to hold a small team to account and personally execute. This is not a pure delegation role and there are no ivory towers.

This is a Manchester office based role. The business works together in person and is not offering hybrid, so please only apply if that suits you.
