Senior Human Resources Officer

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Human Resources Officer to join a busy and professional organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a CIPD-qualified HR professional with strong employee relations experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

You will provide expert HR advice and support to managers, lead recruitment and selection activity, manage employee relations casework, and assist with organisational change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR advice and guidance across a range of people matters.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance, and performance cases.
  • Assist with change management and workforce planning activities.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyse HR data and produce reports and recommendations.
  • Deliver training and guidance to managers.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and support junior HR and recruitment staff.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • CIPD qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous HR generalist experience, including employee relations and recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience managing complex casework.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
  • Experience supporting organisational change would be advantageous.
