Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
KPI Recruiting are working in partnership with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit an ambitious Audit Semi Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified ACA or ACCA professional looking to further develop their audit career within a supportive and progressive environment.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of audit assignments, working closely with senior members of the team while developing their technical expertise, building client relationships and taking on increasing responsibility across a varied portfolio of audit engagements.
Key ResponsibilitiesAudit & Client Support- Support audit assignments from planning through to completion, assisting with the delivery of high-quality audit work.
- Carry out audit testing and procedures in line with agreed audit plans.
- Ensure compliance with current auditing and accounting standards throughout engagements.
- Assist in identifying audit risks and contribute to audit findings and reports.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, responding to queries effectively.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure engagements are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Support and mentor junior members of the audit team where appropriate.
- Review aspects of junior colleagues' work and provide guidance.
- Share knowledge and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Continue developing technical knowledge and professional skills through ongoing learning and practical experience.
- Assist with the effective management of audit assignments and resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues across different teams where required.
- Complete administrative and ad hoc duties to support the smooth delivery of audit engagements.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in audit processes and procedures.
- Part-qualified ACA or ACCA.
- Previous experience within an audit and accounts role in an accountancy practice.
- Good understanding of UK auditing and accounting standards, including FRS and IFRS.
- Knowledge of audit quality, compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively within a team.
- Experience using CaseWare and/or CCH.
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues.
