  • Supporting Operations with the introduction of new processes and controls
  • Managing regulatory changes through the full product delivery lifecycle
  • Identifying risks, dependencies and potential gaps in proposed solutions
  • Maintaining clear documentation and stakeholder updates
  • Supporting occasional client discussions relating to regulatory developments
  • Recommending improvements to existing regulatory change processes
The background

The organisation is open to candidates from a broad range of financial services backgrounds.

Relevant sector experience could include:

  • Banking
  • Asset management
  • Wealth management
  • Pensions
  • Insurance
  • Investment operations
  • Fund administration
  • Financial technology

You may currently be working as a:

  • Product Owner
  • Regulatory Business Analyst
  • Senior Business Analyst
  • Regulatory Change Manager
  • Product Analyst
  • Change Analyst
  • Project Manager

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience delivering regulatory or compliance-led change within financial services
  • The ability to interpret complex regulations and identify business impacts
  • Experience translating regulatory requirements into practical system or process changes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with Compliance, Operations and Technology teams
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methods
  • Experience managing requirements, backlogs or user stories
  • Strong written documentation skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple regulatory priorities

Direct Transfer Agency experience is not required. The organisation is primarily interested in candidates who understand regulated financial services environments and can demonstrate successful delivery of regulatory change.

Why apply?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a specialist and business-critical product area within a growing Manchester team.

You will inherit an established regulatory change process, work closely with experienced subject matter experts and have responsibility for shaping how future regulatory requirements are delivered across the platform.
