Working across multiple stakeholders and disciplines, you will play a central role in creating long-term value through effective supply chain management, procurement excellence and commercial decision-making.
Your new role
As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with wider business objectives while delivering the best value across projects. You will build and maintain robust supplier relationships, support bid and commercial teams, and provide expert guidance on procurement strategy, market engagement, supplier performance and commercial risk management.
You will work closely with project and commercial teams to identify the optimum supply chain for successful project delivery, whilst overseeing procurement activities, tender strategies and supply chain performance reporting. The role will involve evaluating market opportunities, identifying and mitigating commercial risks, challenging existing processes to drive efficiency, and promoting continuous improvement across the supply chain function.
A key aspect of the position will be developing strong supplier relationship management practices, facilitating supply chain forums and performance reviews, and supporting the negotiation and implementation of contractual arrangements. You will also contribute to tender development, assess supplier capability and financial risk, and support project teams through procurement planning, project handover and ongoing supply chain oversight.

You will be able to analyse and interpret financial and procurement data, develop practical recommendations, and manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Strong market knowledge of major infrastructure and building work packages, together with experience of supplier negotiation, procurement strategy development and contract management, will be highly beneficial.
Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential. You will have the ability to work collaboratively across business functions, influence decision-making, and drive continuous improvement through effective planning, problem-solving and relationship building. You must have existing or be able to obtain SC clearance.
What you'll get in return
You will have the chance to shape procurement and supply chain strategy, work alongside experienced commercial and project teams, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects.
