Role Overview
A leading national law firm is seeking a talented Corporate Associate to join its growing Corporate team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious corporate lawyer looking to take the next step in their career with a highly regarded practice that advises a broad range of national and international clients.

The team advises on a wide variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, equity capital markets work, business sales, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. Working alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers, you will gain exposure to high-quality matters while enjoying genuine opportunities for progression and client contact from an early stage.

Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with between who can demonstrate:

• Experience advising on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, business sales and acquisitions, investments or corporate reorganisations
• Strong technical legal skills and a willingness to develop further within a high-performing team
• The ability to manage matters independently while supporting on larger and more complex transactions
• Experience conducting legal due diligence exercises and managing disclosure processes
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills across a range of corporate documentation
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider team
• A proactive attitude towards business development and networking activities
