My client, a well-respected law firm, are seeking to recruit a diligent, confident, self-motivated, Solicitor to join their rapidly growing Finance Litigation Department. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical knowledge, commercial acumen, and a breadth of litigation experience.

Client care is a priority of the firm, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate when they have gone over and above to provide exception quality service to the client. Essential skills

• Commercial Awareness
• Extensive, general litigation experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Able to work to strict deadlines and in a pressurised environment.
• Proven experience of running own case load, including preparing pleadings, witness statements, briefs to Counsel etc.
• Proven experience of maintaining client relationships

Essential Experience

· General litigation

· Running own case load

· Developing and maintaining relationships with repeat clients and experience of meeting demanding needs of those clients.

Preferred Experience

• Receivership/Insolvency work
• Mortgage Possession Claims
• Experience in acting for Finance company clients
• High Court work
