Working alongside the Group Financial Controller, this role will have a commercial remit, working closely with the Chief Investment Officer to provide integral analysis on future investment opportunities.

Salary: £70,000-£75,000 + bonus
Location: Office is located in Central Manchester, with a hybrid/ flexible working policy.

Main Duties:
• Commercially-led Finance role, reporting to Group Financial Controller.
• Required to provide additional capacity in the team following expansion of the business.
• Primary responsibility for supporting the Commercial and Group investment portfolio, including investment modelling of new opportunities and ongoing financial compliance, working hand in hand with Chief Investment Officer and Investment Managers.
• Exposure to Investment Committees in relation to presenting new claims proposed for investment.
• Some involvement in day-to-day accounting and regular management reporting, though this is primarily looked after by existing Finance Manager.
• Ad hoc analysis and project work as necessary.

Person Specification:
• ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA Qualified.
• Relevant experience of commercial analytics and financial modelling.
• Able to support the business function and senior management team.
• Excellent communicator, capable of disseminating financial information to both finance, and none finance individuals.
• Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skill set.
