Web Marketing Analyst – App, Digital & Customer

We’re working with a data driven insurance business to hire a Web Marketing Analyst – App, Digital & Customer. This is a key hire within the Marketing team, focused on understanding what truly drives profitable, sustainable growth.The role sits across performance marketing, attribution, and back-end revenue insight, with real ownership over how marketing effectiveness is measured and communicated across the business. Marketing performance data currently sits across multiple platforms and touchpoints, this role will bring that together into a single, trusted view, enabling better decisions around channel investment, acquisition, customer value and retention. You’ll act as the go-to person for marketing analytics, working closely with marketing, data and commercial teams.

The key areas covered:

• Digital performance (GA4, GTM – across web, app and paid channels)
• Attribution (cross-platform measurement – AppsFlyer / Firebase nice to have)
• Data & reporting (Power BI, SQL)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Owning web and performance analytics, ensuring GA4 and GTM are accurate, robust and continuously optimised
• Analysing digital performance across paid channels, with a focus on improving efficiency, conversion and ROI
• Working across web, app and marketing data to understand cross-channel journeys
• Ensuring tracking accuracy across complex web and app journeys
• Taking ownership of attribution, understanding how different platforms measure performance and resolving discrepancies
• Supporting the move towards more advanced, LTV-led measurement
• Building and maintaining dashboards covering CAC, LTV, ROAS and conversion
• Working directly with data (including SQL where needed) to improve reporting accuracy
• Delivering customer and commercial insight through cohort and segmentation analysis
• Supporting marketing, pricing and product decisions with clear, data-led recommendations
• Analysing CRM and lifecycle performance to improve conversion, retention and reactivation

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in marketing, digital or growth analytics
• Strong hands-on experience with GA4 and GTM (essential!!)
• Experience analysing web/on-site, digital marketing and ideally app data
• Understanding of cross-channel journeys and attribution
• Experience with paid media measurement (Google Ads, Meta etc.)
• Power BI (or similar reporting tools)
• Advanced Excel, SQL desirable but not essential
• Exposure to AppsFlyer or Firebase beneficial, but not required
• Confident communicator, able to explain insight clearly and work with senior stakeholders
