We're looking for a Software Engineer to design, build and deliver modern cloud-native applications across large-scale programmes. You'll work on cutting-edge digital products, leveraging AWS and modern engineering practices to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
What you'll have the opportunity to do as a Software Engineer
- Develop cloud-native applications using modern languages (Java, TypeScript, Python, C#)
- Build and deploy services using AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, etc.)
- Design and develop microservices and serverless architectures
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
- Work with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) to deploy scalable services
- Ensure quality through testing (unit, integration) and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
- Contribute to performance, security, and observability in production systems
The right Software Engineer should have:
- Experience in at least one backend language (Java, TypeScript, Python, C# or Go)
- Strong exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Understanding of microservices, APIs, and modern application architecture
- Experience with Docker or containerised deployments
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced environments
- Salary from £50,000 - £66,000
- Hybrid working
