About the Business

We are a growing business technology solutions provider and Sage strategic partner, helping SMEs across the UK improve operational performance through cloud software, ERP, finance systems, managed IT services, and digital transformation solutions.

Working with leading technology vendors including Sage and other complementary business software providers, we deliver consultancy-led solutions that help organisations streamline processes, improve reporting, and scale effectively.

As part of our continued growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Marketing Manager to lead and execute integrated B2B marketing activity that drives brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on marketer who enjoys working in a fast-paced technology environment, managing a small team and can combine strategic thinking with practical delivery.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced B2B Marketing Manager to develop and deliver a high-impact marketing strategy across our portfolio of Sage and wider business technology solutions.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the full marketing mix, creating and executing integrated campaigns across digital and offline channels to generate qualified leads and support pipeline growth working with the wider central Marketing team.

You will work closely with sales, vendor partners, and senior leadership to align marketing activity with commercial objectives and customer acquisition goals. The role requires a proactive and data-driven marketer with strong experience in technology, SaaS, ERP, IT services, or professional services marketing.

Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms — ideally Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar enterprise systems — is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s B2B marketing strategy aligned to business growth objectives

  • Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across email, digital advertising, social media, webinars, events, PR, and thought leadership

  • Drive inbound lead generation and nurture campaigns to support sales pipeline growth and customer acquisition

  • Work closely with sales and business development teams to align marketing activity with revenue targets and conversion objectives

  • Manage and optimise CRM-driven marketing campaigns and customer journeys using data-led insights

  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse KPIs and ROI, and provide regular reporting to senior leadership

  • Collaborate with Sage and other strategic technology vendors on joint marketing initiatives and partner campaigns

  • Support website development, SEO, paid search activity, and digital performance optimisation working with the wider Central Marketing Team

  • Develop customer case studies, technical content, sales collateral, and thought leadership materials

  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and developments within the business technology and digital transformation sector

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a B2B marketing management role

  • Proven success delivering measurable lead generation campaigns within technology, SaaS, ERP, IT services, or professional services sectors

  • Appreciation of digital marketing expertise across email, social media, SEO, PPC, content marketing, and marketing automation (this is managed by Central Marketing)

  • Experience using CRM and campaign management platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership teams

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and optimise performance

  • Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Commercially aware with a strong understanding of sales and marketing alignment

Desirable

  • Experience working with Sage products or within a Sage reseller/channel partner environment

  • Understanding of vendor-led and channel marketing programmes

  • Experience marketing ERP, finance systems, cloud software, managed IT, or digital transformation solutions

  • Experience managing webinars, customer events, and partner-led campaigns

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary of up to £65,000

  • Hybrid and flexible working environment

  • Opportunity to shape and lead marketing strategy within a growing technology business

  • Career progression opportunities as the company expands

  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial culture

**Please note this is a hybrid role and can be based from our Manchester, Bolton or London office**
