United Utilities delivers essential water services to homes and businesses across the Northwest and are looking for people with a keen eye for detail and organisation to join their team as a Leakage Administrator
About The Role
In this role, you will manage and monitor leakage data for specific postcode areas, ensuring accurate logging of incidents and maintaining up-to-date records. You’ll track and report leakage trends, prepare data-driven reports for internal teams, and escalate potential issues within wider networks. The position involves regular communication with field engineers to coordinate responses and support operational planning, alongside performing essential data entry and administrative tasks to keep systems accurate and compliant.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and monitor leakage data for assigned postcode areas, ensuring accurate and timely updates in internal systems.
- Log and track leakage incidents within your designated area, identifying patterns and escalating potential network issues.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports to support internal teams and United Utilities in addressing wider leakage trends.
- Communicate with field engineers and operational teams, providing accurate data and coordinating responses for repairs.
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with company standards and data protection requirements.
- Support analysis of leakage performance across postcode areas, using data insights to flag emerging risks and assist decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong data entry and record-keeping skills, with the ability to maintain accurate leakage data for assigned postcode areas.
- Basic analytical ability, to spot trends and flag potential issues within wider networks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for updating records and producing simple reports.
- Excellent communication skills, to liaise effectively with engineers and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and organisational ability, ensuring compliance with data protection and company standards.
- Valid UK driving licence, as occasional travel to sites in the Northwest is required.
What You Need to Know
- Hourly Rate- £15.64 PAYE, paid weekly one week in arrears
- Location: Eastern Divn 93, Peel Green, Eccles, Lancashire, M30 7DR (on site full-time)
- Start date: ASAP
- Assignment type: 6-month temporary contract through Reed Talent Solutions, as United Utilities trusted recruitment partner.
