Make a real difference by connecting people with career opportunitiesWe're looking for a motivated and results-driven Learner & Employer Engagement Officer to join a growing training and employability team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, working towards targets, and helping people gain the skills and opportunities they need to succeed.
In this role, you'll manage the full learner journey—from initial enquiry and enrolment through to training and employment—while developing strong partnerships with employers to create job opportunities, work placements, and apprenticeships.

What You'll Be Doing- Generate and convert learner leads through referral partners and employer networks.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to source vacancies, apprenticeships, and work placement opportunities.
- Manage the end-to-end learner journey, including onboarding, screening, and suitability assessments.
- Provide information, advice, and guidance to learners throughout their programme.
- Support learners into sustainable employment, apprenticeships, or further education.
- Develop relationships with referral partners, stakeholders, and external organisations.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and produce weekly performance reports.
- Attend external venues, including Jobcentre Plus, community hubs, and partner locations.
- Achieve and exceed KPIs relating to learner enrolments, interviews, and employment outcomes.
- Ensure safeguarding and compliance requirements are met throughout the learner journey.
- Experience in recruitment, employability, learner engagement, sales, or a similar customer-focused role.
- A proven track record of achieving targets and working in a KPI-driven environment.
- Confidence engaging with employers, partners, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of funded training programmes, adult education, or employability services is desirable.
- Recruitment or welfare-to-work background.
- Experience within the construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
- Knowledge of employability, skills, or vocational training programmes.
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
- IAG Level 2 qualification or willingness to work towards achieving it.
- Competitive salary of £32,000–£35,000.
- Monday to Friday working hours.
