Enterprise Data Platform Technical Lead - #2106263

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead - Enterprise Data Platform to lead the technical design and delivery of strategic data initiatives within our Business Banking division. This is a key leadership role responsible for enabling business applications to consume data from our enterprise-wide cloud data platform, ensuring scalable, secure and high-quality data products that support critical business services.

Working across Architecture, Engineering, Data Management and Business stakeholders, you will provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams, defining data consumption strategies, business data models and enterprise integration patterns while ensuring alignment with the bank's data architecture and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across Enterprise Data Platform initiatives supporting Business Banking data consumption.
• Lead the end-to-end technical design for data integration, modelling and consumption across multiple delivery teams.
• Design and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver and Gold data layers) to support scalable, governed and reusable data products.
• Define and govern enterprise data products, data contracts and consumption patterns for downstream business applications.
• Develop business data models and map legacy data structures to the Enterprise Data Platform.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience leading technical delivery on Enterprise Data Platform programmes.
• Proven hands-on experience designing and implementing Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver and Gold layers).
• Strong experience with modern cloud data platforms including:
• Databricks
• Azure Data Lake
• Azure Data Factory
• Delta Lake
• Spark
• Snowflake (desirable)
• Microsoft Fabric (beneficial)
