Joiner-Fire Door Installation| Contract| Greater Manchester| Day Rate up to £225

Our client, a fast-growing and highly regarded fire door specialist across the Northwest, is expanding and this is your chance to be part of it. We're on the lookout for skilled day-rate contractors to join a busy pipeline of projects spanning both domestic and commercial environments.

If you're based in the Northwest and take pride in delivering high-quality installations, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent work. You'll need to be flexible and ready to travel across the region, with occasional projects further afield, perfect for those who enjoy variety and want to maximise earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing fire doors and frames in accordance with current fire safety regulations and industry standards (e.g. BS 8214)
• Ensuring accurate fitting, alignment, and compliant door gaps to maintain fire and smoke integrity
• Fitting and adjust ironmongery including hinges, closers, locks, intumescent strips, and smoke seals
• Carrying out post-installation checks to ensure doors close, latch, and perform correctly under fire safety requirements
• Complete installation records, compliance paperwork, and certification to meet legal and client requirements

Key Requirements

Essential:

• NVQ L2 joiner minimum
• CSCS card valid
• FIRAS installers number obtained
• Driver with own vehicle, preferred VAN

Desirable:

• SSSTS / NVQL3 site supervisor obtained
• First Aid @ work completed
