WüNDER_TALENT

We are a well-established provider of time and attendance, access control and workforce management software, serving over 75,000 users across the UK with both standard and bespoke solutions. Our product suite spans time and attendance, scheduling, HR, access control and job costing, along with complementary mobile and biometric solutions.

The Role

We're looking for a Sales Account Manager to nurture and grow relationships within an existing portfolio of clients. This is a pure account management and growth role — the focus is on renewing, retaining and expanding revenue within your account base. You'll be the primary point of contact for your clients, building trusted relationships across HR, operations, payroll, finance and IT, and identifying opportunities to grow each account through additional products and services.

The Opportunity

This is more than a standard sales role. As a growing business, we offer the chance to learn how a company really works, not just how to sell. You'll own your portfolio and are encouraged to treat it as your own business — working closely with our marketing team to generate growth, shaping your own plans, and seeing the direct impact of your work.

Location & Travel

This is a home-based role covering a national portfolio of accounts, generally concentrated around the UK's major cities. You'll manage your own diary and plan your week as you see fit. Most client contact is via Teams, with around one face-to-face client visit per week once trained, plus further UK travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, engaging stakeholders across HR, operations, payroll, finance and IT as a trusted advisor
  • Meet or exceed growth and revenue targets through upsell and cross-sell across the product suite
  • Develop account plans, conduct research into growth areas, and forecast/track account metrics
  • Maintain deep product knowledge and stay current on industry and competitor trends
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing, prepare proposals, and close agreements
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues, collaborating with internal teams as needed
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales updates
  • Partner with marketing, product and customer support to align strategies and drive growth

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Around 1–3 years' proven sales or account management experience (less experienced candidates with real drive to win and grow accounts will also be considered)
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Ability to manage your own workload, prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, proactive, resilient, commercially driven, honest, dependable and accountable

Desirable:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field
  • Experience in software or SaaS sales
  • Knowledge of workforce management, HR or payroll industry trends
  • Account planning and forecasting experience
  • Flexible, adaptable and keen to learn
