About the Role

We are currently recruiting three experienced chefs to join our growing catering and hospitality team in Manchester. We are seeking highly skilled culinary professionals with strong expertise in Pakistani, Indian, and Asian cuisine, combined with the ability to prepare and develop a range of Western and international dishes.

Candidates must currently have the right to work in the UK and be willing to relocate to Oldham or live within a reasonable commuting distance (approximately 30 minutes travel time).

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook authentic Pakistani, Indian, and Asian dishes to a high standard.
  • Develop and create Western dishes using Asian and South Asian spices and flavours.
  • Manage and produce large-scale catering orders and bulk food preparation.
  • Support menu development and introduce innovative food concepts.
  • Maintain food quality, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
  • Supervise kitchen operations and assist in training junior kitchen staff.
  • Work effectively in both restaurant and catering environments.
  • Ensure efficient stock control and kitchen management.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the catering or hospitality industry.
  • Previous experience working as a Sous Chef or Head Chef.
  • Strong experience in Pakistani and Indian cuisine.
  • Experience preparing food for large-scale catering events and bulk production.
  • Experience working within fast-food operations.
  • Experience in high-end restaurants, luxury hospitality establishments, or 5-star hotels.
  • Previous experience working within the UK hospitality sector.
  • Strong understanding of UK workplace culture and professional standards.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Oldham or live within approximately 30 minutes travelling distance of the workplace.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Western, European, and Thai cuisine.
  • Experience preparing steaks and contemporary Western dishes.
  • Ability to combine Asian and Western flavours creatively.
  • Menu planning and kitchen leadership experience.
