Manchester (2 days onsite, Piccadilly Place)

£16.80 – £19.09 per hour

Initial 3-month contract

The Opportunity

We’re supporting a key public sector organisation through an exciting period of transformation within their People function. Following recent leadership changes and new business plan commitments, the Resourcing team is evolving – and this role will play a critical part in that journey.

You’ll join a collaborative team of Resourcing Partners and Advisors, reporting into a highly experienced Hiring Manager, with the opportunity to shape recruitment strategy, improve processes, and drive more effective hiring outcomes.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end recruitment campaigns across a wide range of roles (circa 100 annually), supporting both BAU hiring and new growth areas such as Procurement, Commercial, Audit & Assurance, and Legal.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with hiring managers to plan upcoming recruitment activity and workforce needs
  • Writing compelling job adverts and managing attraction strategies across multiple channels
  • Delivering full end-to-end recruitment campaigns, from briefing through to offer
  • Designing and advising on assessment approaches, interview structures, and selection processes
  • Challenging and guiding stakeholders on scoring, selection decisions, and best practice
  • Championing Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, ensuring fair and consistent hiring processes

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience managing high-volume, end-to-end recruitment campaigns
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with confidence to challenge constructively
  • Background in HR, Talent Acquisition, or Resourcing
  • Experience developing attraction strategies and using multiple sourcing channels
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities

Why Join?

  • Longer term and or permanent opportunities likely to be available
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders on meaningful hiring challenges
  • Exposure to a wide variety of roles and strategic recruitment initiatives
  • Hybrid working with a central Manchester location
