Our client a beauty brand is seeking a Head of Brand Marketing.
This is a strategic leadership role at the intersection of creative and marketing. You'll translate brand vision into a high-output, well-resourced creative function — making sure the team produces the right work, at the right volume, for the right channels.
You'll define our social, influencer and PR strategies, own brand positioning, and act as the critical link between our creative teams and our marketing performance. Crucially, you'll be a leader in managing resource and capacity — understanding workloads quickly, ensuring we get the most from the team we have, and building the case to scale the team in line with demand. You'll report directly to the Digital Director.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
BRAND & CREATIVE LEADERSHIP
Set and lead the overarching brand positioning and creative direction for the brand.
Lead, manage and develop the creative team — in-house creatives, content producers and freelance/agency resource
Quickly understand team workloads and capacity, identify bottlenecks, and ensure the team consistently delivers high-impact work
Forecast resourcing needs and drive decisions on team size and structure based on demand and growth priorities
Connect creative output directly to marketing performance — every piece of work has a clear purpose and a measurable role in the funnel
STRATEGY
Define and own the social media strategy across all organic channels
Define and own the influencer / creator strategy — from talent selection through to brief, output and impact
Define and own the PR strategy to grow brand awareness, authority and earned coverage
Ensure all strategies ladder up to a single, coherent brand vision
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL IMPACT
Partner closely with the Digital Director and performance/paid teams so creative fuels both brand-building and conversion
Act as the bridge between creative and marketing output, so brand and performance pull in the same direction
Use insight and data to prioritise work, evaluate impact and continuously raise the creative bar
Requirements:
A strong creative background
Proven experience managing creative teams and resource, including capacity planning and scaling teams
Beauty industry experience
Experience defining social, influencer and PR strategies and owning brand positioning
A genuinely strategic operator
Experience linking creative output to marketing performance
Experience in a company with £20M+ annual revenue
In-house brand experience preferred
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth consumer brand
Comfortable working with content creators and a creator-led marketing model
