As NPD Co-Ordinator, you will play an integrual role in Beauty Bay's own brand NPD team helping to bring innovative beauty products to market.
Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you will help our NPD Managers, coordinate and manage live product development projects, coordinate samples, track delivery timelines, and assist with market and trend research.
This is an exciting hands-on role where you will gain exposure to the fast-paced own brand beauty industry and play a key role in supporting new product launches for BEAUTY BAY and our other own brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Look after the project tracker for all new product development projects, monitor timelines, and ensure key internal and supplier deadlines remain on track.
- Assist NPD manager with communication with suppliers throughout the product development process.
- Liaise with suppliers to to request, manage, and coordinate samples.
- Track & manage product samples and maintain accurate records throughout the development lifecycle, including maintaining the sample store, displays, and labelling.
- Prepare samples for show and tell presentations, and any other supporting materials for NPD stage gate meetings and internal reviews.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, product opportunities, and gaps in the beauty / cosmetics market.
- Coordinate internal product trials, sample distribution and feedback collection.
- Take meeting notes and distribute actions from key internal and external meetings.
- Provide other general administrative support, including logging samples, arranging couriers, ordering products, purchasing benchmark items, processing invoices, and managing post.
Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in an administrative position in retail, beauty, brand, marketing, or product development is preferred
- Experience working with suppliers or coordinating projects
- Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident conducting research and presenting findings clearly.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-focused.
- Passion for beauty products, brands, and industry trends.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
