Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Fashion Design Intern role based in Delhi ncr. The Fashion Design Intern will support the design team with research, concept development, and mood board creation, as well as assist in sketching garments, preparing technical drawings, and sourcing fabrics and trims. Daily tasks include helping with sample development, basic sewing, garment fittings, and maintaining organized records of patterns, samples, and materials. The intern will also assist with styling looks for photoshoots, preparing garments for presentations, and collaborating with the team on visual assets such as line sheets or simple graphic layouts. The role offers hands-on exposure to the full design process, from initial concept to production support, while working closely with experienced designers.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Fashion Design, including sketching, concept development, and understanding of garment construction.
- Knowledge of Textiles, including fabric types, properties, and appropriate use in different garment categories.
- Basic Sewing abilities for sample support, alterations, and finishing details.
- Experience or interest in Fashion Styling, including outfit coordination and preparing looks for shoots or presentations.
- Introductory Graphic Design skills for simple layouts, mood boards, and visual presentation of concepts.
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow direction, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate respectfully with a small, creative team
- Portfolio demonstrating design work, sketches, or projects that reflect creative thinking and technical potential.
