Overview
We are partnering with a well-established, high-profile organisation to appoint a Senior Corporate Development Manager.
This is a key strategic role, responsible for leading corporate partnerships, driving income growth, and managing a high-performing team. The organisation is currently in an exciting phase of significant growth, with ambitious income targets and major projects on the horizon.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of corporate partnership income growth, in line with overall organisational strategy.
Lead the development and delivery of strategic plans to drive income across the corporate partnerships stream.
Drive revenue growth through sponsorship and commercial partnership opportunities.
Line manage a Corporate Fundraising Manager, including day-to-day leadership, performance management, training, and development, as well as involvement in recruitment when required.
Lead and support the team in securing new corporate partnerships by developing a broad range of opportunities, including cause-related marketing, commercial activities, in-kind support, and employee engagement initiatives, targeting local, regional, and national organisations.
Monitor expenditure and ensure activity is delivered within agreed budgets and KPI frameworks.
Deliver and contribute to key projects as directed by the senior leadership team.
Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to plan and deliver campaigns, materials, and digital assets to support partnership activity.
Oversee the planning and delivery of a programme of corporate events and engagement activities to maximise income and raise organisational profile.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners and business networks.
Monitor market trends, identify opportunities, and provide insight to inform future strategy.
Ensure all activity complies with relevant regulations, industry standards, and data protection requirements, with appropriate risk management in place.
Utilise data, research, and insight to identify and develop new partnership opportunities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using CRM systems, ensuring effective reporting and pipeline management.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to maximise opportunities across multiple income streams.
Take ownership of personal development, staying up to date with sector trends and best practice.
Contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the organisation by supporting wider objectives and targets.
Undertake any additional duties required to support the smooth running of the team and organisation.
Benefits:
- Holiday entitlement: Starts at 27 days per year, rising to 29 after 5 years and 33 after 10 years plus all statutory bank holidays.
