The Role:

We're working with a fast-growing beauty brand that is looking to hire a talented Video Editor to join their creative team. This Video Editor role will play a pivotal part in bringing a major documentary project to life, alongside producing high-impact, premium social media content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble high-quality video content across long-form (documentary) and short-form (social media) formats.

• Apply creative editing techniques including transitions, pacing, sound effects, and visual storytelling to enhance engagement.

• Design and integrate graphics, animations, and on-screen elements to elevate content and align with brand aesthetics.

• Manage and refine audio, including sound balancing, music integration, and voiceovers to ensure a seamless viewing experience.

• Collaborate closely with videographers, marketing, and creative teams to deliver content that meets campaign objectives.

• Stay up to date with social media trends and editing styles, ensuring content is optimised for each platform.

• Maintain consistency in brand tone, visual identity, and production quality across all outputs.

• Work to tight deadlines, adapting quickly to feedback and evolving briefs.

About You:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative, high-quality work.

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and relevant editing and design tools.

• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.

• Experience incorporating sound design, music, and graphics to enhance video content.

• A strong interest in beauty, fashion, and digital trends, with an awareness of what performs on social platforms.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally as well as independently.

• Passion for content creation, modern aesthetics, and digital storytelling.
