Our client is an established and well-regarded accountancy practice providing audit, accounting, and advisory services to a diverse client base.

They work with a range of organisations from SMEs to larger corporates across sectors including retail, property, hospitality, and professional services.

An opportunity has arisen for an Auditor / Audit Senior to join their professional team.

The role offers exposure to a varied portfolio of clients and the chance to work closely with experienced managers and directors.

* Leading audits from planning through to completion
* Preparing audit files and supporting documentation
* Reviewing financial statements and identifying risk
* Liaising directly with clients
* Assisting with statutory accounts preparation
* Ensuring compliance with UK audit standards
* Supporting junior team members
* Working closely with managers and directors

* Audit or accountancy practice experience
* Strong understanding of accounting principles
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage deadlines effectively
* Good working knowledge of Excel

Desirable:
* ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified
* Experience with Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
* Knowledge of UK GAAP and audit standards
