We're looking for a Junior SEO Executive to join a fast paced and supportive marketing team, helping to improve organic visibility, drive website traffic and support SEO initiatives across a portfolio of brands.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who wants hands on experience, commercial exposure and the chance to learn from experienced SEO professionals.
The Role
As Junior SEO Executive, you'll support the planning, implementation and optimisation of SEO activity, helping to improve organic search performance and enhance the customer journey.
You'll work closely with content, marketing and digital teams, gaining exposure to keyword research, content optimisation, link building and performance reporting while developing your SEO expertise.
What You'll Be Doing
• Conducting keyword research and identifying opportunities to improve organic visibility
• Supporting content optimisation and on page SEO activity
• Working closely with content teams to develop SEO focused content ideas
• Uploading and maintaining content through the CMS
• Assisting with outreach activity to build relationships with publishers, bloggers and influencers
• Supporting optimisation of product and service pages
• Monitoring SEO performance and competitor activity
• Producing regular reports, insights and recommendations
• Keeping up to date with SEO trends, algorithm updates and industry best practice
Essential Skills & Experience
• Strong interest in SEO and digital marketing
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Desirable Skills & Experience
• Understanding of SEO principles and search engine best practices
• Experience using content management systems (CMS)
• Knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush or Ahrefs
• Previous marketing, digital or content experience through work, education or internships
