The Opportunity: 

We’re looking for a diligent, detail-orientated Finance Assistant to join our award-winning marketing agency. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be the first hire in a growing finance department, supporting a developing reporting process to assist in high quality financial insights. 

Your Role: 

You will take ownership of the day-to-day bookkeeping duties via our Xero software, including but not limited to: 

• Take charge of the processing of financial documents such as sales invoices, purchase invoices and bank statements 
• Take charge of reconciling accounts transactions such as receipts, payments and credit card transactions 
• Assist in the maintenance of accurate, up-to-date financial records electronically 
• Assisting the FM with the production of high quality financial reports, including monthly management accounts and department spending analysis 
• Other adhoc duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For: 

• Previous experience in an accounts role in either practice or industry 
• Strong mathematical skills and familiarity with accounting software such as Microsoft Excel, Xero, Dext 
• Strong organisational and communication skills 
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality due to exposure to sensitive information 
• Eagerness to learn and grow as part of a highly motivated team
