We are seeking a Junior Bid Writer to play a pivotal role in preparing high-quality proposals and tender documents for a leading organisation in the transport and distribution industry. Description

  • Prepare and write compelling bids and proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to gather relevant information for tenders.
  • Ensure all submissions are accurate, professional, and delivered within deadlines.
  • Assist in maintaining a library of bid templates, case studies, and other relevant materials.
  • Review and proofread written content to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Support the team in identifying and responding to new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative strategies to enhance bid success rates.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders throughout the bid process.

Profile

A successful Junior Bid Writer should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as marketing, communications, or business.
  • Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • An interest in or understanding of the transport and distribution industry.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary between £30,000 and £32,000 per annum.
