Site Engineer – Ground Investigation

£32,000 – £36,000 + Full Benefits Package

Due to continued growth, a leading site investigation contractor is looking to appoint a Site Engineer to support a range of geotechnical and ground investigation projects across the North West.

This is a site-focused role offering plenty of variety and hands-on project involvement. The successful candidate will come from a contracting background and will be confident supervising site works and coordinating field operations.

Key Duties

• Supervising drilling and ground investigation activities


• Monitoring health & safety compliance on site


• Soil and rock logging


• Coordinating subcontractors and equipment


• Supporting delivery of projects to programme


• Working on highways, commercial, infrastructure, and development schemes

About You

• 2–3 years’ experience within a ground investigation contractor


• Strong practical understanding of site investigation works


• Comfortable working on site full time


• Good communication and organisational skills


• Full UK Manual Driving Licence required
