Are you an Estimator from a Power Generation background or similar looking to join a global company for a lead role where you will be working on projects in the millions and increase your earnings through a company bonus?

A leading international power generation specialist delivering low-carbon energy and battery storage solutions. Established in 80's, the business designs, builds and maintains systems including gas engines, CHP, biogas, landfill gas and large-scale batteries. They work with public sector bodies, industrial clients and energy developers to deliver turnkey projects supporting energy efficiency and net zero goals. With a strong international presence and multi-million-pound turnover, the organisation is known for its technical expertise and delivery of reliable, sustainable energy solutions.

In this role, you will prepare and submit accurate, competitive tenders for power generation and battery storage projects. You will review engineering packages, produce cost estimates and bid submissions, and assess technical and commercial viability. You will support client communication, carry out site visits where required, and interpret specifications to identify risks or deviations.

This role would suit an Estimator or Tendering Engineer from a Power Generation or similar background looking to work on large-scale low-carbon energy projects using the latest technologies within a globally recognised business.

The Role:

• Prepare and submit competitive tenders for power generation and battery storage projects valued from £2m-£30m+
• Review engineering packages and assess technical and commercial viability
• Work across CHP, gas engines, biogas, landfill gas and battery storage systems
• Produce cost estimates, proposals and formal bid submissions

The Person:

• Experience as an Estimator or similar within Power Generation, Energy or a similar industry
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification degree
• Commutable to Manchester
