Job Title: Head of Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Optimisation (GEO)
Location: Manchester City Centre
Reports To: Co-Founder
The Role
Key responsibilities
- Create and develop GEO and AEO search strategies for our clients including audits, servicing and product offerings.
- Ensure that solution is appropriate to support our client achieving business goals
- Own and manage client relationships and operate as a partner to them vs a supplier
- Collaborate with the other department leads for vision, quality, and direction.
- Monitor and test new developments (from AI Search to automation and data integration).
- Support new business and thought leadership through AEO insights, case studies, and pitch contributions
- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, new developments and innovations within the AEO and GEO space.
- Represent Fabric externally (conferences, webinars, publications, industry talks).
What we are looking for in you
- We want someone who is a self-motivated passionate, diligent and curious to power our clients’ businesses forward.
- Experience in technical delivery and client management of AEO and GEO
- Previously worked agency side, including typically a minimum of 3-5 years; operating at an expert level.
- Extensive experience in the field of SEO/GEO/AEO; breadth of vision gained from extensive hands-on technical implementation including using technology such as Profound, Peec AI, and Semrush (AI Toolkit)
- Demonstrated success in delivery of technical complicated projects into clients across a wide range of industries.
