About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading global financial services organisation within its Investment Operations and Asset Servicing division supporting wealth managers, institutional clients, broker dealers, and investment platforms across EMEA.

The team supports the operational lifecycle of investment products including Mutual Funds, OEICs, Unit Trusts, ETFs, and other collective investment vehicles, ensuring transactions, settlements, reconciliations, and client servicing activities are completed accurately within a highly regulated environment.

We are open to speaking with both Associate and Senior Associate level candidates and welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds across Funds Operations, Custody Operations, Transfer Agency, Wealth Operations, Platform Operations, Asset Servicing, and Investment Operations.

The Opportunity

This role offers exposure to a broad range of operational activities across Funds and Custody Operations, including:

• Processing subscriptions, redemptions, switches, and fund transactions
• Monitoring settlements and transaction processing activities
• Performing cash and stock reconciliations
• Investigating operational breaks and failed trades
• Supporting client onboarding and KYC processes
• Managing client, adviser, and stakeholder queries
• Liaising with custodians, transfer agents, fund managers, and internal operational teams
• Supporting corporate actions and exception management activities
• Producing operational reporting, KRIs, scorecards, and management information
• Supporting operational controls, audit requirements, and regulatory processes
• Contributing to process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives

Senior Associate level candidates may also:

• Act as escalation points within the team
• Support workflow allocation and oversight
• Review operational controls and governance reporting
• Assist with change management and operational transformation projects
• Mentor junior team members and support SME responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience within Investment Operations, Financial Services Operations, Custody, Funds, Transfer Agency, or Wealth Operations
• Strong attention to detail and operational control mindset
• Experience handling reconciliations, settlements, or transaction processing activities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively within high-volume, deadline-driven environments
• Strong organisational and problem-solving capabilities
• Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, lookups, pivots, and reporting

Desirable Experience

• Fund Administration or Custody Operations experience
• Corporate Actions or Securities Operations exposure
• NAV, pricing, or exception management experience
• Client Asset / CASS knowledge
• Experience supporting operational improvement initiatives
• Exposure to platforms such as Bloomberg, SimCorp, or similar financial systems
• Pensions or platform operations backgrounds with transferable investment operations experience
