The Team
Operational Resilience and Business Continuity sits within the Risk team which advises and supports staff and partners in managing risk and compliance across the firm.
The Role
The Business Continuity Analyst will support the Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Lead ensuring that the firm has appropriate operational resilience risk identification and assessments, policies, procedures, training, and governance in place to be able to ensure that its operations can provide continuity of business undertakings in any circumstance. This includes emergency preparedness and crisis management. This position will collaborate with individuals from all business services areas (IT, Facilities, HR, Marketing, COOs etc.) and client-facing practice groups to develop, implement, maintain, and execute business continuity plans that meet the strategic, tactical and operational needs of the firm.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and review of Business?Continuity?plans
- Assist with the administration of ongoing cyclical activities such as policy and procedure reviews
- Maintain and update all relevant documentation, including plans and testing schedules
- Assist the team in developing and embedding an enterprise risk framework
- Collect and analyse risk information for management and reporting to relevant senior committees
- Coordinate regular testing of plans and support after action planning
- Support ongoing delivery of Business?Continuity?training and awareness sessions
- Deal with day-to-day queries and prioritise matters as necessary
- Work alongside others in Risk carrying out ad-hoc project work
- Previous experience in Business Continuity or Resilience planning
- Good analytical, organisational and task management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create and maintain relationships
- Proactiveness and initiative and the ability to continually seek out ways to improve processes and procedures and share ideas
- Excellent judgement and attention to detail
- Team player, consultative and inclusive with strong attention to detail
- A good working knowledge of MS packages and strong IT skills essential
- Previous experience in Enterprise Risk management
- Familiarity in conducting risk assessments and business impact assessments
- Experience designing and facilitating crisis management exercises
