  • Hours: 42 hours per week on a rota basis, covering Monday to Sunday. Rota’s will be planned in advance so there is time to plan and opportunities for evening event cover will be available with time back in lieu.

Join Lookers as a Cupra specialist Manager at the first of its kind city garage and become part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive the world-class experience they expect CUPRA while collaborating with our dealership sales teams to drive enquiries, appointments, and build lasting relationships. You will lead, coach, and develop the specialists, ensuring high performance, adherence to processes, and a supportive team culture.

CUPRA Specialists represent the core of the CUPRA brand’s distribution strategy. They are the game changers and the key differentiators to offer our customers a unique and distinctive experience.

CUPRA Specialists in the Manchester City Garage will not be focussed on selling cars, but rather on accompanying any visitor or customer as they discover and experience the brand. They will instil passion and provide in-depth expertise, and where appropriate assist the customer in taking the next best step towards a purchase.

In a world moving towards digitalisation, this role is also responsible for connecting the online and offline worlds, personalising the experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

A CUPRA Specialist will:REQUIREMENTS

  • CREATE CUPRA EXPERIENCES FOR CUSTOMERS
  • Greet customers with a warm welcome, ensuring every customer is acknowledged instantly
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to both current and future customers, ensuring each interaction is memorable.
  • Ask openly about each visitor’s needs. Be interested in knowing their interests, motivations and lifestyle. Listen actively and tailor the experience accordingly.
  • Know the models, values and attitude of the CUPRA brand in depth, and be ready to share.
  • Present a suitable proposition for the visitor and explain how it meets their needs.
  • Accompany the visitor in getting to know the vehicle and any related technology.
  • Be prepared for any concerns or objections, listen closely, and handle them appropriately.
  • Recommend and facilitate appropriate next steps for prospective customers, e.g. visiting a CUPRA retailer for a test drive, part-exchange valuation etc.
  • Process enquiries through our digital journey and capture all interested customers details into the system.
  • Maintain the specialists attendance, holiday requests and general managerial responsibilities including scheduling, rota’s and one to one meetings.
  • PROMOTE AND STRENGTHEN THE CUPRA COMMUNITY
  • Build brand awareness, embodying and sharing the passion of the CUPRA style and values.
  • Drive awareness and promotion of the CUPRA City Garage through social media, events and online presence.
  • Excite, engage and educate all prospective and existing customers through dynamic communication and local events/initiatives.
  • Keep customers informed and excited by CUPRA brand and product news.
  • Exemplify the CUPRA Specialist role for the benefit of retailer staff who will visit the City Garage as part of their training and engagement.
  • Embrace the role of the City Garage as a hub of innovation and a test-bed for sales tools on behalf of the whole UK network.
  • CONTRIBUTE TO SALES VOLUME AND SALES EFFICIENCY
  • Actively manage customers through the purchase funnel, collecting data and facilitating follow-ups at an appropriate CUPRA retailer for conversations to continue.
  • Recognise/reward the loyalty of existing CUPRA customers who pass through, validating their choices and encouraging their repeat business.
