With the Build to Rent (BTR) sector continuing to expand, our client is seeking a strategic, commercially-minded Head of Build to Rent to lead and grow this key division, working closely with developers, institutional landlords, and investors across the UK.
Role Overview: The Head of Build to Rent will be responsible for the strategic development, operational delivery, and commercial success of the agency’s BTR offering. The role requires a blend of leadership, sector expertise, and business development acumen to drive client acquisition, mobilise new instructions, and oversee service delivery across leasing, mobilisation, operations, and client reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the BTR growth strategy in alignment with wider business objectives and emerging market trends.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, developers, and fund managers. Lead on new business pitches and client onboarding.
- Team Management: Recruit, lead, and develop a growing BTR team, ensuring high performance and consistent delivery across the service line.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day leasing operations, mobilisation processes, and building management standards, ensuring a best-in-class resident experience.
- Performance Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of leasing KPIs, operational metrics, and asset performance to clients and stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with lettings, marketing, technology, and property management teams to deliver integrated BTR solutions.
- Innovation & Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery through technology, resident experience initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
- Proven experience within the Build to Rent sector, ideally at a senior or head-of-level position.
- Strong understanding of institutional PRS and multifamily leasing models, mobilisation, and operational delivery.
- Demonstrated success in winning and delivering large-scale mandates.
- Commercially driven with strong P&L and client management experience.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to travel regularly between major UK cities.
- A senior leadership role within a high-growth, entrepreneurial business.

- £90,000-£120,000 basic and £150,000 OTE
