Operations Manager Health & Social Care
Location: On-site Full-time £35,000 £45,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
On-call: Participation in an on-call rota is required
Are you a compassionate and proactive leader with a passion for delivering high-quality care? Were looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and support the day-to-day running of our care services. Working closely with the Registered Manager, youll play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing, safety, and independence of our service users while leading and supporting a dedicated staff team.
What Youll Do
Support the Registered Manager in service delivery and staff supervision
Oversee multiple care services, including supported living and domiciliary care
Lead on care planning, risk assessments, safeguarding, and compliance
Monitor service performance, manage budgets, and report to leadership
Build strong relationships with families, commissioners, and external partners
Conduct assessments for new referrals and ensure high standards of care
Participate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives
Take part in an on-call rota to support out-of-hours service needs
What Were Looking For
NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
Experience in a senior or supervisory care role
Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A hands-on, empathetic, and solution-focused approach
