Our NW based client is currently looking to recruit an Analytical Method Development Specialist to perform complex method development and validation using HPLC / UPLC on a variety of synthesised chemicals and API molecules. This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys developing novel methods from first principles in busy commercial manufacturing environment.

Additional Duties For This Role Will Include

• Leading a team of Analytical Chemists, assisting with ongoing project work when required
• Ensuring compliance to analytical CMC regulations to support both early and late stage API development projects
• Instrument and method trouble-shooting
• Working with Synthetic / Process Chemists to understand synthesised chemicals to ultimately ensure the successful analysis of a range of molecules
• Leading on a number of analytical projects, defining scope of project and milestones
• Understanding / performing analyses with a range of other chromatography, spectroscopy and wet chemistry techniques including NMR
• Completing detailed reports
• Understanding new approaches in analytical methodologies and techniques and implementing method improvements
• Training and mentoring others, leading by example on complex problem solving challenges
