Proposition and Delivery Manager - #1785348

West One is seeking a Proposition and Delivery professional responsible for delivering propositional and operational change for the mortgage division. The role is focused on working closely with the MD of Mortgages and the senior management team to identify and implement areas of propositional and operational change, undertaking as many of those tasks as possible, and – where collaboration is required – ensuring that other colleagues adequately understand their tasks & deadlines and deliver on time. Finally, the role must ensure that projects are delivered on (or within) time and budget constraints at an appropriate level of quality.

Key Accountabilities

• Identify areas of propositional change to deliver a better customer experience across the term lending product range including residential mortgages, second charges and buy to let.
• Work with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process changes to improve operational efficiencies/proposition enhancements throughout the customer journey.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to co-ordinate actions to successfully execute business change
• Develop special project documentation including scope, business, and delivery plan
• Identify and manage all risks to project delivery
• Update/develop policies and procedures to support change projects
• Create and circulate regular, formal project reporting against time & scope
• Close engagement with the IT team to define the changes to existing systems required to enable delivery of changes requiring system development
• Provide business support to the senior management team

Knowledge & Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and experience of mortgages including products, operations, systems, lending documentation and the origination process flow.
• Prior experience of developing and implementing lending-related process changes.
• Knowledge of project & programme management and reporting best practice.

Please note this position is available at either our Watford Head Office or our Manchester Office. If based in Manchester then candidate will need to be prepared to travel regularly to Watford which would include overnight stays as working with internal stakeholders will be critical to the role.
