About The Job
We are looking for Account Executives to join our Sales & Partnerships community in central Manchester. As an Account Executive, you’ll provide an excellent onboarding experience for our new customers, typically within the first 3 months of their journey on our platform. The first impression is important, and the ability to build trust and rapport quickly will set the foundation for long-term success.
A huge part of the onboarding role will be building strong relationships to understand the customers goals and challenges. You’ll take the time to train them on our platform and show them how to get the absolute best out of our product, achieving a high response rate on their adverts and return of investment. In turn, this will allow you to spot commercial opportunities to make recommendations, while making sure customers are on the right package for their needs. We will provide you with the extensive data and industry insights in order to partner with your customer base and deliver credible suggestions for their product plan.
Our Account Executives are absolutely pivotal in creating the relationships that our Account Managers then nurture long-term. We encourage progression at Auto Trader, and if the next step in your career is to move to an Account Manager role, we will support you.
What We’re Looking For
Take a look at our career stories campaign and blogs for more information about our progression and culture. The lead on the team, Chad, has an insightful video linked:
We’re offering a salary of £27,000 – £32,500, plus an additional 10% of your salary awarded to you in shares each year. These awarded shares will become yours in yearly instalments over the next three years, and you can choose to either sell them or keep them as shares. Please note, this isn’t a commission based role.
You’ll have 28 days holiday per year, and that’s in addition to bank holidays and half day closures on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
That’s not all. You’ll be enrolled in our pension scheme, where our standard contributions are 7% and employee contributions are 5%. We also have comprehensive private medical cover, enhanced family leave provisions, a car salary sacrifice scheme, share-save options, and much more.
We always want to give you the support you need and help prioritise your wellbeing, that’s why we provide access to 24/7 online GP and dentist, as well as specialist support for assisted fertility, gender dysphoria, menopause, period care plans and lots more.
On top of all that, our hybrid model, Connected Working, combines the best of both worlds – office and home working. You’ll have two fixed weekly office days for team collaboration and one more of your choice to suit your work-life balance.
Additionally, during July and August, along with two weeks in December, we have our remote first periods. During these times, you can work remotely, whether that’s from another location in the UK or even from certain locations abroad.
