This role offers the chance to work alongside a knowledgeable finance team dedicated to driving financial improvement and scalability. You will be part of an organisation that values your input, encourages new ideas, and supports your professional growth through ongoing training opportunities and clear pathways for long-term career progression.

The company is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace where your enthusiasm and commitment are recognised and rewarded. If you are looking for a varied position that will challenge you while providing the tools and encouragement needed to develop your skills, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

* Join a collaborative finance team in a growing business with a strong focus on employee development, knowledge sharing, and skill enhancement.

* Enjoy flexible working opportunities within an environment that values new ideas, encourages continuous improvement, and provides clear routes for career advancement.

* Benefit from being part of an organisation that prioritises teamwork, open communication, and the nurturing of positive relationships across all levels.

What you'll do:

As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the finance function of a large business. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with colleagues across departments to deliver insightful financial analysis that informs strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for supporting key forecasting, budgeting, and planning cycles while ensuring that performance is monitored effectively against set objectives. By building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, you will help drive improvements in commercial awareness and operational efficiency. Your ability to present complex data in an accessible way will ensure that your insights have real impact across the organisation.

* Develop and deliver both standard and ad-hoc financial analysis to support the management team's strategic direction and drive sustainable business growth.

* Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes by conducting thorough financial analysis to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and enhance profitability.

* Monitor performance against plans by providing insightful feedback and constructive challenge to senior stakeholders as required.

* Identify areas for continuous improvement within financial processes and contribute innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

* Create robust financial models that provide valuable insights and improve commercial awareness throughout the wider team.

* Present key findings in an impactful manner using data visualisation techniques and compelling narratives tailored for non-finance audiences.

* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders on commercial finance analysis projects, delivering comprehensive reports using Excel and PowerBI.

* Generate accurate financial information while undertaking proactive analytical investigations to deepen understanding of business operations.

* Contribute to developing a better understanding of the business by supporting initiatives aimed at improving overall operational performance.

What you bring:

To excel as a FP&A Analyst, you will bring proven experience gained within medium or large finance teams-alongside at least twelve months' exposure in similar roles. Your background may include studying towards professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA; however, applications from those qualified by experience are equally welcomed. You possess not only technical expertise but also strong interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport quickly across diverse groups.

* Demonstrated attention to detail combined with excellent organisational abilities that enable you to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

* Advanced proficiency in manipulating large datasets using Microsoft Excel, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.

* Proven experience conducting variance analysis, forecasting activities, and building detailed financial models relevant to business needs.

* Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues both verbally and in writing.

* Strong analytical mindset supported by advanced Excel skills that allow you to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets.

* Ability to foster positive working relationships built on trust with both internal teams and external partners alike.

* A commercial approach paired with confidence when constructively challenging stakeholders or offering alternative perspectives.

What sets this company apart:

Here you will find an environment where collaboration is celebrated-where every voice is heard-and where your contributions genuinely shape outcomes for customers and colleagues alike. The company places great emphasis on nurturing talent through structured training programmes designed around individual aspirations while promoting flexibility so you can achieve balance between work responsibilities and personal life. With transparent leadership focused on empowering teams rather than imposing hierarchy, employees enjoy generous support networks that encourage open dialogue about new ideas or process improvements.
