Menswear Jersey Designer - #1783075

We're working with a well-established menswear brand based in Manchester, who are currently experiencing exciting growth. They are looking for a Menswear Jersey Designer to join their friendly and talented design team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful brand with a strong reputation, working closely with the wider team on a variety of menswear and boyswear projects. You will be involved in designing across jersey multi-product, as well as creating some graphics for tees and sweatshirts.


Main Responsibilities will include:

• Conduct in-depth trend research and high-street competitor analysis
• Design commercial, creative jerseywear collections - including core shapes and original graphic artwork
• Create designs across menswear, focusing on tees, sweats, and other jersey categories
• Liaise with overseas factories throughout the design and development process
• Support the presentation of ranges to buyers and contribute to building strong commercial relationships
• Collaborate across the design team on multi-product ranges
• Travel for inspiration trips

Person specification:

• Previous experience designing menswear and/or boyswear is essential
• A strong understanding of jerseywear, including shape design and graphic application
• A good balance of creativity and commercial awareness
• Excellent organisation and confident communication skills.
• A proactive, enthusiastic team player who's eager to learn and grow
• Graphic design skills for print placements and branding are a strong advantage
